QuarkXPress/InDesign

We use QuarkXPress/InDesign for many of our projects, from single color newsletters to heavily designed, multi-color books. Through Quark/InDesign, we can easily handle multiple colors, foreign languages, and imported illustrations. To set math in Quark we use XMath & PowerMath extensions.

TeX/LaTeX

Contentech is extremely proficient in TeX/LaTeX. TeX includes built-in functionality for typesetting mathematics and uses excellent hyphenation and page-and line-breaking algorithms. It is a high-quality typesetting system freely available for virtually all modern computer platforms , with features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation.

It offers programmable desktop publishing features and extensive facilities for automating most aspects of typesetting and desktop publishing, including numbering and cross-referencing, tables and figures, page layout, bibliographies, and much more. The current version is LaTeX2e.

Additionally, LaTeX has become one of the primary means of generating paper output from SGML and XML sources. LaTeX can also be converted to Web format with the help of LaTeX2HTML and TeX4ht, which are designed specifically for generating customized HTML output from LaTeX input.

Electronic Publishing Services
