Copyediting   <Contentech/> has an established pool of both in-house and freelance copyeditors with backgrounds in engineering, science, math, business, French, German, Russian, and more. Our copyeditors are trained in the common editing styles, including those of the Chicago Manual of Style, American Psychological Association, etc. We offer both hardcopy and online copyediting. Proofreading   Our proofreaders have a master degree in science and around 5 years experience in STM publishing. As we understand the importance of accuracy in STM publishing, all our projects go through several rounds of proofing and quality assurance (QA). Initially, the page proofs are manually checked word-for-word against the manuscript and the client provided specifications. Our proofreaders maintain a complete checklist for these activities and if any errors are found, the proofs are sent through a round of corrections. As many rounds as necessary are carried out before the proofs are approved in the final QA. QA Specialists   Quality controllers have a minimum of 8 years experience in the industry. They are the final signing authority before the delivery of proofs to client. They also hold the responsibility of training new staffs for QA. Template Designers   Our Template designers have a degree in science with experience ranging between 4 and 8 years in STM publishing. The template creators are well versed in all publishing software. Paginators   Our Paginators have a degree in science have a minimum of 4 years experience in the industry. They have proficiency in all publishing software with good knowledge on understanding the publisher's specifications, scientific drawings and higher mathematics to carryout the task. They work closely with the Proof readers and QA. Illustrators   Our illustrators are experienced and comfortable with incorporating high-resolution scans and line-art furnished by publishers. They use sophisticated scanning techniques combined with the latest image manipulation software to modify, label, enhance or render any artwork (both in color and black and white formats) as necessary. They are also able to design any cover and to redraw any artwork or medical illustrations. Technology Engineering   Scripts, macros, parsing, and validation tools are developed in-house with a dedicated team. Our Engineering team comprises of well experienced IT professionals and fully conversant with C++, Java, VB, Perl, Python, etc. enabling a sophisticated and tightly connected production process. They constantly develop tools & utilities for Automation process with adoption of emerging technologies. Logistics/Planning & Analysis   Our planning team comprises of graduates with an eye for detail. They register every incoming and outgoing project for accountability. All materials received are scrutinized, following which a detailed report is prepared listing all instructions to be followed before executing the work. This analyzing report will contain information on missing components, special messages or instructions, feasibility of using a data supplied on disk etc. Any discrepancy found is immediately conveyed to the client for fast action. IT/Network Administration   Computer science graduates with strong skills in networking and administration to address all troubleshooting or networking problems.
